is a true leader and champion in promoting the Italian culture not only in Italy but throughout the world.

Sono nato a Mongrassano (CS) il 14 Giugno 1950, vivo da sempre in Italia a Mongrassano, dove mi
occupo attualmente e prevalentemente di assistenza previdenziale e fiscale dei pensionati.
In passato sono stato funzionario delle Ferrovie dello Stato, da alcuni anni sono in pensione.
Dal 1991 sono nel Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’aeroporto Internazionale di Lamezia Terme, dove
ho anche ricoperto, per un periodo, l’incarico di Vice Presidente e di Presidente della Società; dal
1995 al 1998 sono stato nominato nel Consiglio Direttivo di “Asseroporti” l’Associazione che
comprende tutti gli aeroporti d’Italia con sede a Roma.
La passione per la politica e lo spirito di servizio verso la mia Comunità mi hanno accompagnato per
quasi tutta la mia vita. Ho iniziato giovanissimo a 23 anni a ricoprire l’incarico di Consigliere Comunale
nel mio Comune, carica che ho mantenuto ininterrottamente per ben 33 anni (dal 1973 al 2006).
In questo periodo, dal 1983 al 1997 sono stato Sindaco del Comune di Mongrassano.
Nel 1990 sono stato eletto nel Consiglio Provinciale di Cosenza e nel 1995 sono stato candidato nel
Consiglio Regionale.
A livello comprensoriale ho avuto diversi incarichi tra i principali: Presidente della Comunità Montana
“Media Valle del Crati” di Montalto Uffugo e Vice Presidente dell’Unità Sanitaria Locale “L. Pasteur” di
San Marco Argentano.
In ultimo e non per importanza, mi sono sempre occupato della promozione Culturale, rivolta alla mia
Comunità. Ho fondato, insieme ad altri soci l’Associazione “A. Staffa” diventandone il Primo Presidente.
